Customer Reviews
Love this coffee maker! I've used it many times so far and have not found fault with it at all. I like the size of the cup - I was used to a smaller sized cup with the coffee maker that this new one replaced. I had to make two cups - twice the trouble. Now I make one cup - and it's easy to do.
I've tried a number of methods to make my own first-rate, early-AM coffee when traveling worldwide. This is the best I've found so far. I use about 3/4 tablespoon of espresso-ground coffee per cup and get a full, rich taste. I was highly surprised and pleased when the maker almost worked right when I inadvertently plugged it into 240-volt European current with the voltage setting still at 120 - there was a lot of spluttering and a bit of a mess, but the machine thankfully did not die on the spot. But I would say that the voltage button should be located just below the on-off button, to remind you visibly about the voltage, not on the opposite hidden side. The only other small downside I found was a quite distinct plastic taste from the supplied cup that didn't go away soon with washing. I use my own ceramic cup now, placing the supplied one under the spout to collect the few lingering drops. Very inventive, attractive and functional design. Excellent device.
The size is perfect. I used espresso coffee and the result was much better than the coffee from any hotel coffee machine with pads.
