You can really tell that this is 100% shade grown coffee, because there's absolutely no bitterness to it at all... It's so creamy and chocolately. My coffee lounge, Espresso Brazil, uses these beans - the shots are creamy and mellow, and very flavorful. I have some regulars from Italy and Brazil that tell me it's some of the best coffee they've had in the US!
We like this coffee. We had been getting coffee shipped from a roaster, because whole bean is not available locally. I looked to see what Amazon has for a dark roast coffee. Decided to try this, and am glad I did. I signed up for a subscription and now it comes monthly. With the subscriber discount and free shipping it simply cannot be beat for drinkability and cost.
I am not a coffee expert, but this makes a good cup of coffee. With prime and a subscription, it is dirt cheap for the quality.
